After a long, cold winter this was the first warm weekend. We made our step goal for the day easily. Nesli enjoyed the day and the colors. Here are some more of the flowering trees around the neighborhood:

Gallup park is an urban haven. We try to come here for a walk on a daily basis in summer. Today is a gorgeous summer day in southeast Michigan and we raced to Gallup. Swan, goose, duck, and me along with a group of folk who do not seem to know how to start a barbecue fire. Nesli is humming the national anthem I believe. She concluded that goose eat healthy as they seem to have no trouble with pooping.
